BitLoad products are developed and produced by the family-owned company Nelepet OÜ, together with an expanded team. Having been active in the construction industry for a long time, Nelepet OÜ noticed that the storage and management of screwdriver bits is a niche area that large tool manufacturers have largely overlooked. While there is a wide range of products for storing tips on the market, their ease of use in the challenging conditions of a construction site leaves much to be desired.

Based on this observation, in 2015, alongside its main activities, Nelepet OÜ came up with the idea to start developing a product for bit management with a new approach. Since the developed product is innovative in the market (combining the processes of storing and changing tips), the company named the product ‘bit magazine’. Later, simpler bit holders were added alongside the magazine , which, however, have several advantages over typical solutions currently available.
